Warner Pacific Properties is a real estate investment and development company with offices in the Midwest and Southern California. The company specializes in the acquisition and repositioning of commercial properties and also develops vacant ground.

WPP has navigated multiple market cycles. Consequently, WPP recognizes that its greatest assets are the relationships that have endured and prospered over the long run.
WPP works with national retailers and has developed projects for Advance Auto Parts, Aldi, Home Depot, McDonald's, Olive Garden, and Walgreens (among others). While the company is currently focusing its activities in Southern California and Midwest, WPP has completed projects throughout the United States.
John focuses on the identification of new projects and their development. His education and training began at an early age, as he started accompanying William Odell (Michael & John’s father) on market tours, site evaluations and construction meetings as a youth.
To augment the informal education resulting from his exposure to the family business, John earned a finance degree from the University of Notre Dame. Upon graduation, he immediately started pursuing development opportunities. John has participated in commercial projects across the country and they include all major asset classes.
John appreciates that the development of commercial real estate has a significant people component, and he enjoys the relationships that prove invaluable to the successful completion of a project (with partners, tenants, lenders, governmental officials, community groups, architects, construction crews, etc.).
Michael Odell has been actively involved in real estate for nearly 25 years, starting out as a commercial real estate appraiser and now currently investing in commercial real estate. Mr. Odell and his brother John co- founded Warner Pacific Properties, focusing on the acquisition of well priced properties, special situation properties and properties in need of rehabilitation or repositioning.
Prior to forming Warner Pacific Properties, Mr. Odell worked for Hanover Financial, a real estate financial company providing equity capital to investors for both existing assets as well as new developments. His duties ranged from analyzing and underwriting deals to partnership structuring.
Odell holds a Master’s Degree in Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California (MRED), and was an undergraduate in economics from Kalamazoo College (Kalamazoo, MI). He additionally has earned the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute.
